Paleo Granola

A couple of friends have asked about my recipe for Paleo Granola. So I want to share. First though, I can't take the credit!! My second mom, Susu, recently began eating Paleo and had this when I got to work the other day. Took me only a day to make it to the store to get the ingredients to make it. So without further ado...

Paleo Granola

You can add any amounts you want. Sorry but you kind of have to wing it!

Ingredients:
Raw Pumpkin Seeds
Raw or Roasted (unsalted) Sunflower Seeds
Raw Walnuts cut into small bites
Raw sliced Almonds
Dried Cranberries (hard to find these without sugar added)
1/4 Honey (approximate)
1 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 225 or 250 degrees.
Dump all the nuts and seeds in a mixing bowl.
Add Cinnamon and Honey.
Stir.
Pour onto a foil lined baking sheet and make a single layer.
Bake in 15 minute increments stirring after each 15 minutes.
Bake for a total of about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Break the granola apart and place in an air tight container.
Yum.

Warning! Don't eat too much at one time!!!!!!! Seriously Addicting!!!!

Enjoy and let me know how it turns out!!!!
Much Love!

P.S. Coming Soon! An all about Paleo Blog!

More Photography

My friend Jeannie is helping me improve my photo taking ability. I really don't think I should call it photography just yet. One thing that has been making me crazy is the composition of my photos. So Jeannie has been teaching me about the rule of thirds. Completely makes sense to me. I am also completely addicted to the actions I have found from Pioneer Woman and MCP. Although I only use the free ones, they have helped me a ton. I am learning, and in the process falling more in love with taking pictures. I find so much joy in photographing my children. Here are a few from my practice session with Stella bird. And for every good one there were about 10 that were not so great. Look out David Edmonson, here I come! :)
